Emotional/ Pastoral Support

Emotional/ Pastoral Support at Aston Clinton

Pastoral care is the provision we make to ensure the physical and emotional welfare of our children.

We believe that a successful pastoral care programme means that your child feels safe, happy, involved and able to perform to their full potential. They enjoy being with their peers and any problems are spotted and dealt with.

Many of the interventions are of a short term nature in order to support individuals with school related issues. There are occasions when it is necessary to operate a waiting list if demand is high.

If parents have concerns about their child's emotional /social well being, the class teacher should be the first point of contact

  • Facilitating worry, anxiety and anger programmes.
