Welcome to our Year 4 Learning page! This is where you can keep up to date with all of our learning and any useful information you may need.
In Year 4, we want children to be ‘the best that they can be’. Our aspiration is for all children to be engaged in their learning. We ensure that lessons are fun, challenging and collaborative whilst also providing opportunities to develop independence and resilience.
As part of our enriching curriculum, during the Autumn term, Year 4 visit Ufton Court to enrich and develop their learning about the Bronze Age. Here, they experience a day in the life of a ‘Bronze Age person’ and take part in their very own battle!
During the Summer term, Year 4 experience their first overnight stay! With a focus on ‘Living Things and their Habitats’, during the day, Year 4 visit Whipsnade Zoo to explore different habitats and endangered species. When returning to school, the thrilling experience continues with a David Attenborough themed ‘cinematic’ evening and overnight sleepover in the hall!
