A system for arranging a broadcast of emergency school closure announcements in bad weather has been arranged. Broadcasts will begin as early as possible and continue until 9.00am. The announcements are made on the following radio stations:

We post information on our school website and send text messages and e-mails to all parents.  We also use our Twitter account (@AstonClintonSch).  In addition, there will be information on the Buckinghamshire Council website https://closures.buckscc.gov.uk/ 

In some exceptional circumstances it may be necessary to close the school during the day. In these cases the school will send out text and e-mail messages asking parents to arrange for their children to be collected. In a situation where parents cannot be contacted, members of staff will supervise the children until alternative arrangements can be made.
