ASTON CLINTON SCHOOL

Early Career Teacher (ECT) 1 post

Required from September 2026

Permanent Contract

Pay Scale:  Teachers Main Scale Point 1

Come and be part of our friendly and supportive team by providing modern and exciting learning opportunities to our great children.

We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Primary Teacher to join our dedicated and vibrant school community. This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers currently training towards achieving QTS. As a school with flexibility across year groups, the successful candidate’s placement will be determined by their strengths, interests, and experience.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who is committed to inspiring young learners. You will bring creativity, imagination, and high expectations to the classroom, ensuring that every child receives the very best start to their education. You will contribute to delivering an engaging, stimulating, and carefully structured curriculum that both nurtures strong foundations and offers rich opportunities for challenge.

Our school is proud to offer a wide range of supplementary activities, including residential visits, music, and sports, all of which support a well-rounded and exciting learning experience for our pupils.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for their own class, demonstrating commitment, focus, and dedication to helping children reach their full potential and achieve academic success.

As an ECT, you will be fully supported through the Early Career Framework. You will join a highly supportive and collaborative staff team, with access to a strong CPD programme. You will benefit from regular opportunities to discuss your classroom practice with experienced teachers, trainers, and specialist advisors through coaching and structured reflective practice. Your personal mentor — an experienced colleague — will provide day-to-day support, guidance, and feedback. In addition, you will attend regular induction training sessions alongside fellow ECTs.

If you are passionate about shaping the educational experiences of young learners and eager to begin your teaching career in a nurturing, forward-thinking environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.
