In Year 5 we aspire to give every child an equal opportunity to thrive and continue on their path to becoming a confident and determined learner in a friendly classroom. We follow a knowledge-rich curriculum that inspires all children to grow and be the best that they can be in everything they do. We also encourage children to take on responsibilities that help them develop leadership, teamwork, and care for others. For example, they can join the Buddy Brigade, become Opal Play Rangers, take on the role of Reporters, or support younger children in Key Stage 1 during lunchtime play. We encourage all children in Year 5 to care for each other and succeed in all they do.
