Paddington Class and Supertato Class

In Year One, we provide a caring, stimulating learning environment where every child thrives. We ensure a smooth transition from Reception to Year 1 through building on learning from the early years’ curriculum. Children continue to have access to many of the valuable learning resources used in the Foundation Stage, as we aim to make learning as hands on and practical as possible.

We work hard together to create a warm, caring and positive learning environment where every child can be the best they can be. We value the importance of children having a positive attitude towards their learning and our exciting curriculum gives the children both adult led, and independent exploring opportunities. Children are encouraged to become confident and resilient learners who enjoy learning new knowledge and skills.
