Welcome to Barnowls Out of School Club

Barnowls Out of School Club is part of Barnowls Nursery Ltd. Barnowls Nursery was first established in 1991, then moved to a purpose-built building in 2001 in Aston Clinton. Barnowls Nursery is a well-established Nursery offering high standards of care for children aged between 3 months to 5 years, offering up to 60 places a day.

Barnowls Out of School Club came about due to many of our parents needing out of school care for their children once starting school, and at the time no service of this kind was on offer, so in September 2011 we opened Barnowls Out of School Club (Aston Clinton). The out of school club is run in the school grounds, using the clock school hall. We have secure access to the junior school playground and outside grassed area. Aston Clinton Club has now been running for ten years and has been a huge success. After its success we were approached by Weston Turville School to offer the same service. We have been running the Weston Turville branch since September 2014 and the feedback has been amazing. Weston Turville Out of School Club is currently based on site at Weston Turville School in the reception classroom, we also have access to all outside areas.

Barnowls Out of School Club offers a breakfast and after school club for children aged between 4 and 11 years, Aston Clinton club can take up to 45 children per session and Weston Turville up to 25 children per session.

Barnowls Out of School Club treats everyone as individuals regardless of religion, racial origin, cultural and linguistic background, gender, social group or disability.

Barnowls Out of School Club offers a high standard of care for all the children, meeting all of their individual needs; in order to do this we work closely with the children's parents and the school.

We offer a wide range of activities from art and crafts, board games, wii, remote control cars, puzzles, books to role play and den making equipment. The children also have the opportunity to play outside. 

Barnowls Out of School Club also works closely with the school, following the EYFS, meeting all the early years children's needs.

Barnowls Out of School Club provides a stimulating safe environment for the children, we carry out regular risks assessments, fire drills and all toys are checked and cleaned regularly. 

The Barnowls team, are highly experienced qualified staff, with between 10 and 20 years experience in the childcare field, who have first aid and safeguarding training.

Our fees are as follows

Breakfast club (7.30am - 8.45am  Aston Clinton)  £6.50

After School Club ( Aston Clinton 3.15pm  - 6.00pm £15.00) 

However if you should decide to take both sessions together in the same day we will make a concession of £19.50 per day.

The Breakfast club session includes toast, juice or water.

After school club includes a light healthy snack with juice or water provided throughout the session.
